The pressure thermometer uses the thermal expansion and contraction of the liquid to measure the temperature. The closed system composed of the temperature bulb, the capillary tube and the spring tube is filled with the temperature measuring medium-liquid. When the temperature bulb feels the temperature change, the closed system is filled. The pressure of the spring tube changes due to the change of the liquid volume, which causes the change of the curvature of the spring tube to cause the free end to be displaced, and then drives the pointer to rotate through the connecting rod and the transmission mechanism, and the measured temperature is indicated on the dial. This instrument has the characteristics of linear scale, small volume of temperature bulb, fast response, high sensitivity and intuitive reading.
The common fault of the pressure thermometer is that the pointer does not move, and the indication deviation is large. For the pointer stuck, you can use the needle lifter to pull out the pointer, and then use it after re-calibrating the needle.
